Now Wuzhen, a little town in drreaming Jiangnan, is meeting the world’s focus with confidence. The Fourth WIC---Wuzhen Summit has been held in Internet International Exhibition Centre, located in watery Wuzhen of Zhejiang, which themed “Develop Digital Economy, Promote Opening and Sharing---Build Cyberspace Community with a Common Destiny Together”.

In the Summit, Efort helped Huawei participate in WIC, based on the theme of “5G Internet+ Intelligent Manufacturing”. Huawei exhibited 5G high-rate wireless communication application in industry by the interaction of Efort robot’s laser engraving signature on bronze (system integration provided by Evolut, one of Efort’s subsidiaries), which realized the consummate a combination of robotic technology and 5G communications technology.

During the conference, Efort prepared a thematic program specially: two robots cooperated to finish Wuzhen WIC’s the engraving on memorial bronze of personalized signatures. Firstly, guests signed on Ipad, then the signature information would be transmitted to robot system by wireless Internet, ER7B-C10 robot seized with the help of visual system, while ER20-C10 engraved with laser. The two robots work together and finished the engraving of medal, and the whole process only lasted for 50 seconds. The program caught much attention upon its appearance and became one of the focuses in the conference.

The overall program combined the intelligent manufacturing technology and internet technology perfectly, which also reflected the developing trend of future intelligent manufacturing. Engraving guests’ personalized signatures on metals immediately showed the personalized customization and flexible manufacturing’s requirements of intelligent manufacturing; while concerted actions between two robots and the transmission of visual pictures reflected 5G network’s characteristics of high-speed and low-delay.
